My Story
My Passion
Coaching others is a passion of mine and has been since I was very young; I love the energy it brings me as I help others grow and in turn they provide growth for me as I believe we all having teachings to share. As a natural giver, I bring my authenticity and genuine commitment to every individual, team and group I get the opportunity to work with. I have been coaching individuals in different capacities for over 10 years in a variety of industries; it doesn’t matter where one works or what their background is, people are people. My analytical mind naturally connects the dots, looks for root cause and collaborates to close the gap and help others flourish. I have a Six Sigma background that I apply to people, as exciting as numbers are people are way more fun! You can count on me to work with you and your teams in a way that brings the real issues and roadblocks forward. This is imperative to making the change people are looking for as it improves relationship dynamics in all facets of life and creates tangible improvement solutions aligned with who you are as I individualize each and every solution so you get results!
My Mantra
I have a natural zest for life and live every day to it’s fullest being mindful of the people that flow in and out of my day, the learnings that encompass our path and the opportunity that awaits me. Having the opportunity to work with all the different people that have come into my life is my motivation. I am intrinsically and extrinsically motivated by growth and am always self reflecting to improve my self awareness. Asking others to learn and grow is hard to do if I am not able to. I put myself in uncomfortable situations mentally, emotionally and even physically to self-reflect and really learn who I am, what makes me awesome and what I can do more of to live an amazing life. I like to say, “if nothing changes then nothing changes”, so simple and so true.

Certified StrengthsFinder Coach
The Clifton StrengthsFinder® is the culmination of more than 50 years of Dr. Donald O. Clifton’s lifelong work, which has led to more than 15 million people worldwide discovering their strengths. In 2002, Dr. Clifton was honored by an American Psychological Association Presidential Commendation as the Father of Strengths-Based Psychology.
The Clifton StrengthsFinder is a powerful online assessment that helps individuals identify, understand and maximize their strengths. There are many different types of assessments such as Hogan’s, DISC or Myers-Briggs however the difference that I see in StrengthsFinder is the accuracy and detail. Using the StrengthsFinder results enables people to tap into a different level of self awareness. Through continuous coaching you begin to understand yourself in a nurturing and respectful way giving you the power to own your future and live life to the fullest.
All people have a unique combination of talents, knowledge and skills — strengths — that they use in their daily lives to do their work, achieve their goals and interact with others. Gallup has found that when people understand and apply their strengths, the effect on their lives and work is transformational. People who use their strengths every day are six times more likely to be engaged in their work and three times more likely to say they have an excellent quality of life.
Yet, many people don’t know what their strengths are or have the opportunity to use them to their advantage. In fact, many people tend to focus on fixing their weaknesses as society has taught us to focus on what we don’t do well. Being a well rounded individual is only going to take you so far in life. By exploring the ways in which you naturally think, feel and behave, Clifton StrengthsFinder can identify and build on the areas where you have infinite potential to grow and succeed in all areas of life.
Six Sigma Certified
Six Sigma is a disciplined, statistical-based, data-driven approach and continuous improvement methodology for eliminating defects in a product, process or service. It was developed by Motorola and Bill Smith in the early 1980’s based on quality management fundamentals, then became a popular management approach at General Electric (GE) with Jack Welch in the early 1990’s. Hundreds of companies around the world have adopted Six Sigma as a way of doing business and have teams dedicated to process improvement.
Six Sigma can also be thought of as a measure of process performance, with Six Sigma being the goal, based on the defects per million. Once the current performance of the process is measured, the goal is to continually improve the sigma level striving towards 6 sigma. Even if the improvements do not reach 6 sigma, the improvements made from 3 sigma to 4 sigma to 5 sigma will still reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction.
Where I worked we applied three different key elements into how we applied the Six Sigma methodology; Change Management, Analytics, and Project Management. We had large teams and processes were very intertwined throughout all parts of the business creating the need to manage the impact. We did not make any decisions without data and ensuring your data samples were fool proof was an absolute requirement. The third element kept us on track and enabled for risk mitigation along the way. Project Management made our goals measurable.
Taking the attributes of Six Sigma and the tools to be successful in reaching goals are the same principals I apply to my coaching style. Understanding root cause is foundational to making any effective change to individuals, partners and teams. Ensuring we measure progress and can see the journey of growth unfolding we know we are on the right track and making change that sticks. As it has been quoted in various ways, “Change without action is just an idea.”
